Shona’s team is responsible for planning and executing winning ‘Customer First’ acquisition and engagement marketing strategies leveraging Tesco’s unique assets, aligning to Tesco’s customer strategy and driving excellence in the delivery of performance targets across channels and against commercial, customer and brand objectives.

After 10 years on the Agency side, Shona joined Tesco Bank in 2007 working her way up through the ranks alongside her other, more exhausting, career as mother of two energetic (crazy) boys. Shona was shortlisted for ‘employee of the century’ at the 2019 Tesco Bank Value Awards and shortlisted for the 2020 Women in Marketing ‘Best Leader in Marketing’.

His extensive client side experience spans in different sectors from retailing, gambling to consumer goods.

He has a passion for driving and delivering a fantastic consumer experience across all digital touch points of the customer journey. He now manages a team of marketing specialists focused on delivering best of class marketing across a myriad of channels.

Sarah Brooks, Head of Marketing Effectiveness and Insight at Key Group

Sarah heads up all things analytical based within the Marketing team across Key Group and its brands.  She has developed a data-driven decision-making process across the business by introducing attribution modelling, data driven forecasting, direct response and omni-channel response reporting on campaigns as well as single customer views.  This has allowed Key Group to enable personalised nurture triggers and customer handling which reinforces its commitment to putting its customers first.  Sarah’s introduction of data science techniques, machine learning platforms and her in-house knowledge on campaigns and behaviour has also helped to bring this ambition to life.

Prior to joining Key Group, Sarah spent eight happy years at AO.com working her way through the ranks and developing new models and strategies for stock, pricing, warehousing and customer journeys.

Adam Whittles, Head of SEO at AutoTrader

Adam has over 10 years’ experience in digital marketing and is currently the Head of SEO at AutoTrader, the UK’s largest automotive marketplace. As part of the marketing leadership team at AutoTrader, Adam is jointly responsible for the overall marketing budget, objectives and strategy, as well as managing the SEO team. He has previously held roles at a number of GroupM/WPP media agencies, including Head of SEO & Content Marketing at Mindshare. Before joining AutoTrader, he was managing the SEO program at Apple across EMEIA and Emerging Markets.

Most recently, Adam co-authored an Amazon best-selling book titled “Mastering In-House SEO” where he shares his experiences from working at both Apple and AutoTrader. Adam is currently working on the second edition of the book, which should be released in January 2021.

Tom’s impressive career has seen him hold Chief Marketing & Digital Officer and Commercial P&L roles for several UK FTSE 100 brands – leading global businesses, high growth and entrepreneurial private equity backed organisations.

Tom has extensive experience in SEO, gained from gaming, travel and retail verticals and is a business turnaround expert from traditional high street retailer to market leading multichannel consumer champion brand.  He has a real passion for building dream teams that create market-leading brands, supported with data-driven attribution modelling marketing.  

Sophie Parfitt, Head of Media and Content at AO.com

Sophie is currently head of media and content at AO.com, responsible for bringing together digital media, traditional advertising and content. This includes managing all channels to deliver the most effective marketing for the customer. She is particularly passionate about finding new ways to reach consumers when they’re thinking about buying electricals, as well as keeping AO front of mind ahead of their next purchase.

Prior to working at AO, Sophie spent 8 years in various marketing roles at Very.co.uk. Outside of work she enjoys spending time outdoors including horse riding, mountain biking and skiing.

Paul has over 20 years marketing experience in retail – from Toys to TV shopping and Home shopping catalogues to digital, he has developed and lead marketing teams to great commercial success in each and every sector. He has worked within senior positions at a range of companies from small start-ups to billion-pound retail groups during his career which includes with 10 years at N Brown Group leading their Home and Gift divisions and for the last 6 years at Chums – a fashion and home shopping business – where he leads a combination of in house and agency teams to target and retain the most experienced shoppers in the country.

He loves to substantiate his understanding through the use of data and insight to help the whole organisation have a crystal-clear view of the customer and puts this firmly at the centre of any campaign.

Jordan Callum Brown, Head of PPC at Safestyle UK plc

Jordan is the Head of PPC at Safestyle UK plc, the UK’s Number 1 window and door fitter. He manages the company’s PPC and Paid Social channels working with some of the UK’s top agencies. Jordan has over eight years of experience working in Digital Marketing, both agency and client-side, working with nationwide charities and well recognised retail spaces.

Alongside PPC, Jordan has a passion for social media marketing and driving performance through innovative data-driven projects.
